Long live the legend of Minnesota fats who called illinois home ( dowell ) to be exact . fats died in Nashville tennessee in 1996 .... which he moved to after leaving his wife evelyn

But Willie Mosconi was the best straight pool player of his era. He Ran 534 straight balls. The world record . . Unheard of in the day.

Fats was legendary indeed. Which the movie "The Hustler" with Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason as "Fats". A real 4=star flick for everyone.
